Overview
Swissnoso is constantly working on new projects to promote the prevention of healthcare-associated infections.
As a national centre for infection prevention, Swissnoso promotes research into healthcare-associated infections and their prevention in addition to the existing modules. New interventions and surveillance methods for hospital-acquired infections are to be established in Switzerland on the basis of scientific findings. With the support of the Federal Office of Public Health (FOPH) and in collaboration with other institutions in the Swiss healthcare system, Swissnoso is currently working on these surveillance projects on hospital-acquired infections.
