A reporting system enables governance and further development of the local ASP.

(1) Implement annual reporting on ASP in existing local governance structures (hospital management and IPC committee) and processes (yearly hospital planning)

Yearly reporting should include:

• Annual goals
• Antimicrobial consumption, such as the use of (broad-spectrum) antibiotics, antibiotic initiations, as well as the frequency of CDI
• ASP activities and results
• Recommendations for further development of the local ASP

Specific tools for annual reporting are being prepared and will be offered by 2026.
